Hi. I'm Matt. This has been a place of regurgitation and frivolity (don't fret, it will continue to be) but, with any luck and a titch of effort, it will also become a place where I think, document and be more me than it has been previously. Run on sentence much?

  Not like that, perv. Though it might be true, too. Noah Stokes turned 35 and wrote out a list. He said things like:

  Having a mentor means you’re willing and eager to learn. That makes you smart.

  I’ve never had a mentor. I wish I had. Maybe I didn’t recognize opportunities, but I don’t think that’s the case. I’m thankful for a select few friends that I tend to glom together and end up with a similar effect - but, similar isn’t the same and I’m often curious how different things could be.

  Marriage is hard work. If you don’t want to work hard, don’t get married.

  I think about this, too. It’s scary. Life is serious. I don’t want to suck. I appreciate the frankness; it’s necessary.

  The artist(s) probably spent the better part of a week or two putting the tracks in justthe right order. Don’t be a dick and skip to track three.

  People aren’t idiots. People are idiots.

  Disconnecting helps you to really connect.

  Please. I need the structure to disconnect.

  I wish I composed lists like this. It’s so great.
