It’s true. And it’s crazy.
When’s the last time you bought a desktop computer? When’s the last time you felt that your laptop was completely obsolete even though you bought it 3 months ago? You know what you could buy for the price of one laptop? Yeah, you could buy nearly 4 iPads. So if you bought an iPad every 6 months you’d be COMPLETELY intune with the future and you really wouldn’t be missing out on much. I use my laptop for work, what do you use yours for? If you’re a gamer then we can stop here. If you’re doing pretty much anything professionally.. then, that’s cool. I am not giving up my laptop and you don’t have to either.
But here’s the thing… if you can’t see that OTHERWISE… your non-professional life has just gotten 100 fold cooler.. I’m sorry. Because we’re looking at the future. Eco-friendly, inexpensive, full-of-touching and truly interacting… future.
It’s gonna be fucking rad so get used to it.
